BIOGRAPHY

DAVID C. ESSUMAN

David C. Essuman is a certified Electrical Engineer. He was born at Agona Nkum, in the Central Region of Ghana. He had all his circular education in Ghana. He was baptized into the Lord's church in October of 1975.

David received his theological training from the International School of Biblical Studies, Cape Town, South Africa; Sunset International Bible Institute; Sunset School of Missions, Lubbock, Texas; Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas; and the Theological University of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, all of which are in the USA.

David holds a diploma in Biblical and Ministry Studies, and Science of Missions from Sunset International Bible Institute, Lubbock, Texas. In addition he holds a Bachelor of Ministry in Ministry and Master of Ministry in Missions from Theological University of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

David was the first man from our brotherhood to serve as a missionary in the Republic of Congo (formerly called French Congo) and Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly called Belgium Congo). He also served as a missionary to Chatsworth, Durban, South Africa and the Island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.

David now serves as the director as well as the administrator at the Swedru International Bible Institute, Agona Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana, an affiliated school of Sunset International Bible Institute, Lubbock, Texas.

David is married to the former Dorothy Adu Twum for almost 22 years, and they have a ten year old daughter named Priscilla.
