Kent Marcum serves as Dean for this great successful school.

Quito was our first Branch school in 1997. It was a part-time apprenticeship school and, under the direction of Kent Marcum, has grown to over forty students. We recruited two teachers, Arthur Puente and Jorge Pineda, to join Kent and Dario Lupera to form the faculty over the last five years.

Through Jerry Lawlis, Mission Coordinator, we have built a financial base of over $250,000 a year to fund all parts of the Operations Ecuador.

The school meets in the fabulous facilities of the 500 member congregation in the capitol city. For the last three years we have graduated 12-15 each year who either return to the nine Spanish speaking countries or plant new churches. This year we completed our five year contract and the Quito School of Biblical Studies has become an Affiliate School with a new contract of responsibilities. We are replacing the two teachers with newly recruited instructors from the hemisphere.

In addition to the Branch school, and the church, there is a newly constructed Retreat Center and a children's home. Some great churches sponsor these works: Southwest in Pueblo, Co., Campbell St. in Jackson, TN, Faith Village in Wichita Falls, TX, and Bellevue, WA.
