The
school building gets new "dirt brick" walls. These bricks, shown
inside the school building ready to be used, are made on-site and are
the most common material for wall construction in Weala. They receive
a painted coating to help them withstand the frequent rains. |

This recent convert is holding a baby she found abandoned under a bush in the brush surrounding Weala. The church has taken over the raising of the child. This child, and many others who were orphaned during the 14
year civil war, are living evidence of the great need to develop an
orphanage in this city. |
