Sometimes a Sunset Branch School finds itself short on permanent faculty. When this happens it is necessary to recruit temporary faculty to fill in until a full-time teacher can be put in place. Such is the case in Athens. Darryl Wallace and his family will be moving to Athens in the summer of 2004. In the mean time I (Lanny Partain) have volunteered to help the Dean, Jim Stamatis, meet faculty requirements. This is a journal accounting of my experience.
