Ron and Diana Kretz are 1995 graduates of Sunset International Bible Institute. They stayed an extra year to attend Sunset's Missions program.

They have over 8 years experience in local ministry in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Ron graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations.

He served as an Army officer for over 14 years in numerous levels of leadership and management from company to instillation level. He left the military in 1993 to answer the call to serve the Lord in the more important battleground of rescuing men's hearts for God. His whole heart and objective is to serve God to the very best of his ability. He has been blessed with the gifts of shepherding, teaching, and administration.

Ron was invited by Sunset in December 2004 to serve as Dean of the Athens International Bible Institute in Athens, Greece. Ron has accepted this invitation and challenge. He is ideally suited to serve as dean for the school in Athens where he can use his gifts to help teach, prepare, and mentor preachers and missionaries as they set their heart to go forth and spread God's word throughout the world.

Diana has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and is currently working at the woman's domestic abuse shelter in Scottsbluff. Her gifts are teaching, administration, mentoring, and working with women of all ages to help them grow in their walk with the Lord. She is also ideally suited to being the ideal help-meet for Ron.

Ron and Diana have two sons who are both good young men and faithful Christians. David, who is 21 years old, is a graduate from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale Arizona and is currently set to join the Army and report for basic training the end of March. Bryan, who is 18 years old, is currently a freshman at York Christian College in York, Nebraska. He is on the soccer team and is majoring in biology.

Ron is in the process of raising his support to join the work in Athens, hopefully by mid summer 2005. He is being sponsored by the Third and Dwight church of Christ in Monahan's Texas.
