Jajura School of Preaching

One of the students in Jajura is bringing a lesson during chapel time. It is obvious he is into the lesson.

This particular brother, Archeso Hadeno is from a large congregation at Katcha Birra. He was taught by Brother Belete and his gestures are much like those of his teacher. His aim in life is to go to places where the gospel has not yet been taken and teach the lost. Each year in Ethiopia we train 70 men as gospel preachers. With the addition of the new school in Nekemte, that number will increase to 90.

The number of preachers that have completed the training courses in Jajura will be 238 as the twenty current men graduate. Only eternity will measure the number of souls in heaven that came to Christ because they heard the gospel message from these preachers.

There are some important facts about the students of this school:

First: Many of them grew up in the Church of Christ.

Second: Many of them were taught and baptized by former graduates of the Jajura School of Preaching.

Thirdly: Most of them plan to go to new areas to preach and plant congregations. The Church grows every time a new group of preachers graduate.
