Sunset International has long had a strong presence in Ethiopia. Branch schools have spawned affiliate schools and large numbers of native Ethiopians have been trained to proclaim the gospel in their own language and culture.

Sunset and Ethiopian church leaders have a vision of beginning an Ethiopian City Evangelism effort aimed at opening Bible Study Centers in the thirteen capitol cities of that country. This is seen as a way to accelerate the process of church plantings in each of the capital cities of Ethiopia.
