Kirk has served as the Dean of Atlantic International Bible Institute in Miami, FL, since 2001. Prior to that he and his wife served 14 years in the Dominican Republic with his final two years there being spent with La Hispaniola Bible Institute which is now an extension of AIBI.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BS in Civil Engineering, and soon after left to spend about two years each in Costa Rica and Colombia doing mission work.

In 1992 Kirk received his Masters Degree in Missiology from Abilene Christian University and he is enrolled in the Doctorate program at Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana.

He is married to Margaret and they have four children: Timothy Scot, Amber Nicole, Benjamin Caleb, and Joshua Caleb Titus.
