Chris is from Dumas, Texas, the district that his dad represents in the Texas Assembly in Austin. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University and Sunset International Bible Institute, finishing with honors in both schools. While at college, he met and married Brenda Adair. They subsequently worked with the churches in Happy and Shamrock, Texas and Portales, New Mexico. After serving as a visiting teacher in Donetsk, Ukraine they moved to Donetsk as resident teachers. There he worked with Doug Reeves, and later with Jay Don Rogers, as the Dean of Students. For the last several years he has been working with the College Hills church in Ft. Worth, the congregation that had supported them in Ukraine. His major assignment at College Hills was to coordinate their extensive mission programs in many nations. This required much travel and teaching in each of the mission points. During this time he completed a M.A. in Christian Counseling. Chris and Brenda have two teenage boys. Brenda is a school teacher.
