Jerry and his wife maintain a home in Knoxville, TN but he spends most of the year teaching in the Southern Africa Bible School (SABC) in Benoni, South Africa. The Hoggs worked some 13 years as missionaries to Africa in the 70's and 80's and when he is not teaching he is busy raising funds and promoting the interest of spreading the gospel in Africa. With this background Jerry is a natural fit and great addition to the Sunset staff as our point man with the various schools we partner with all over Africa. He will continue his work with SABC and has taken on the added roll of supporting, mentoring, coordinating and generally promoting the best interests of all of Sunsets present and future schools of ministry training on the African continent. |
