Truman Scott is the former Dean of the International Studies Division which began at Sunset in 1997. Before that he served twelve years as the dean of Sunset Residential Division and Director of Biblical Leadership. He came to Sunset out of a rich experience in local ministry, Christian camping and counseling, shepherding and mission work in Italy. As an organizational team Truitt Adair and Truman began the International Studies Division with a Branch school in Quito, Ecuador and Athens, Greece. Then, for the next ten years over thirty, ministry training schools were begun on all five continents. Each school was inspired by the vision of multiplying able spokesmen of the Word in every nation in view of evangelizing the nation. Chris Swinford succeeded Truman in May 2006 as the Dean and is admirably carrying on the training legacy. Truman serves the Sunset Administration in providing insights in mission planning and is developing written, ministry training materials. He and his wife live in Southern Oregon. |
